Attention Juniors: Bridgewater State Opportunity
Attention Juniors - If you are interested in Bridgewater State University and would like to see the campus and also attend a large college fair, then you may request a field trip form from the guidance office. This event will take place on May 24 between 8:00am and 2:00pm. Check your school email for more information. There are limited spaces available.
Gifford Street Writers

Library Closure Dates
- The library will be closed after school on 5/16 and 6/6. In addition, the library will be closed during the day 5/17-5/20 and 6/7-6/10
Rec Center Volunteer Opportunities
The Rec Center is looking for student volunteers for two upcoming dances: Friday, May 13th Mother Son Dance and Friday, June 3rd Father Daughter Dance The dances are from 6:30 - 8:30 pm for Grades K - 6. Please call the Rec Center to volunteer and for more information: 508-457-2567 x 0.
Summer Job Opportunities
New to the VIPS Jobs Board this week: Falmouth is looking to hire lifeguards and are offering up to $1,500 in bonuses for working on or before June 27 through August 22. They have full and part time positions available. The Mass DOT is hiring for two different departments and you need to be 16 years or older. 7th Annual A Cappella Fest
Join Soulfege for the 7th Annual A Cappella Fest on Friday, May 20th at 7:00 PM in the FHS auditorium. Tickets are $5 for students and $10 for adults. They will be joined by the Brown Derbies from Brown University. Please see Mrs. Taylor or a memeber of Soulfege with any questions
Spanish Honor Society
Spanish Honor Society Members, please look on schoology in upcoming to sign up for the beach clean up and info regarding pot luck. Henry Herbert Smythe Trust. Scholarship
Applications are now available for scholarship aid from the Henry Herbert Smythe Trust Scholarship. Money is available both to students currently graduating from high school and to those already started in a post-secondary degree or training program. The application deadline is FRIDAY, May 27, 2022 by 12:00 P.M. All supporting documents must be submitted by that date in order for the application to be considered. INCOMPLETE APPLICATIONS will not be CONSIDERED.
