Parking Stickers for FHS Student Drivers
All FHS student drivers must have a school parking permit for their car if parked on campus. Stop in the activities office for a parking applications. Please fill out and return to activities the first week of school. You will need to show your valid driver's license and your car registration to obtain a sticker.
VIPS Volunteer Time for Athletics and Clubs
Did you know that time spent volunteering for athletic teams and school clubs counts as volunteer time and can be logged with the Falmouth VIPS office? Volunteer hours add up quickly and can make a big difference on student résumés! What Counts? Student Athletes: team fundraisers, coaching clinics, pen pals, charity games or events… Club Members: time spent working on or at fundraisers or events (selling raffles or picking up Christmas trees, for example). Attention Juniors/Seniors
We have a few college representatives visiting us in the fall. Please sign up with Mrs. Carrara in the Guidance Office or email jcarrara@falmouth.k12.ma.us if you plan to attend to meet with the reps in the Guidance Office. If we don't have anyone interested we may have to cancel the meeting. This is not a tour of the school. It is a meeting with a college representative that will be visiting here at FHS. Gifford Street Writers
The first meeting for Gifford Street Writers will be Wednesday 9/23. The club will meet every Wednesday following that. Please reach out to Mr. Sullivan with any additional questions.
Meet the Teachers Night!
Meet the Teachers Night: Next Thursday, September 24, parents and guardians are invited to FHS to follow their students' schedules, meet their students' teachers, and learn about their classes. 5:45 pm - Doors will open for schedule distribution in the Caf 6:15 pm - There will be a brief meeting in the Auditorium with school administration 6:30 pm - The evening's formal program begins with the first period class noted on your student's schedule Questions about the evening should be directed to Mr. Tom McManamon (tmcmanamon@falmouth.k12.ma.us), Assistant Principal of Academic Programs at Falmouth High School.
National Art Honor Society
The first meeting of the FHS National Art Honor Society will be held on September 24th at 2:05pm in room 2005. Any students enrolled in Studio Art or Ceramics who are interested in joining should talk to Mrs. Baker or Mrs. Adams before this date.
Historically Black College or University Presentation
Join the FHS Guidance Department and representatives of HBCU's to learn more about this educational option for all students that is rich with tradition, vibrant community, and dynamic learning experiences. Meeting will be on September 24th during Clipper Time. All interested students are welcome! Sign up on Mentor Monday or see your counselor to be added.
New Student Meeting
There will be a New Student Meeting during Clipper Time on Wednesday, September 23rd in Caf C. All new transfer students to Falmouth High School should have been assigned to this meeting during Clipper Time. Please double check with your Clipper Time mentor or Guidance Counselor to make sure you are assigned.
Attention Seniors!!!
Are you wishing you had a block of time during the school day just to work on college applications? Well guess what? Mrs. Brooks and Mrs. Ruthven will be hosting College Application sessions during Clipper time every Wednesday beginning 9/30!! Sign up under Guidance titled "Senior College Drop-in Help" and meet us in the Library to get one-to-one support on your college apps!
Marjot Foundation Grant Info
Imagine getting paid to do your STEAM Fair Project! Want to work in a lab and earn money for you, FHS & the lab? If you are interested in learning how this is possible, sign up with your science teacher or your mentor, for a Clipper Time meeting in room 2070, under Mrs. Goodwin's name, on Friday October 2nd. Even if you're not sure what you're doing for a project, it's never too early to start thinking!

Science National Honor Society
Science National Honor Society will meet on Thursday after school in Mr Gordon's room 1104 for a short discussion of the year ahead. We also need everyone to stop by 1104 to sign the Hazing form.
