MA Elks Scholarship

The program offers grants to students demonstrating financial need, scholarship aptitude, and good citizenship. Grants may be renewed yearly, based on continued demonstration of financial need and academic achievement. Applications are available online at https://www.maelks.org/scholarships/. Please turn applications in to Ms. Carrara in guidance by January 12th.


Attention Senior Soccer Players!

Richard E. Maxwell Memorial Scholarship For high school seniors actively involved in their school's varsity soccer program. Application can be mailed directly to address on application or turn into guidance by Dec 17th. For more info go to: https://www.capecodsoa.org/maxwell-scholarship.html


Attention Juniors - Coolidge Scholarship

The Coolidge Scholarship is a full-ride, four-year, merit scholarship that recipients may use for undergraduate study at any accredited college or university in the United States. Any high school junior who plans to enroll in college in the fall of 2027 and is an American citizen or legal permanent resident is eligible to apply (current high school seniors are not eligible to apply). Winners may use the scholarship to pursue any academic major.The scholarship application, along with additional information, can be accessed on our scholarship site: www.coolidgescholars.org. The submission deadline is Tuesday, December 16, 2025.


FHS Boys Basketball Playing at TD Garden

We are pleased to announce our boys basketball team will play at 1:00pm versus Westford Academy on Sunday, January 18, 2026 at the Andrew James Lawson event. Each ticket costs $30. The tickets are valid for all eight high school games on January 18. All seats are unreserved and are on a first come first serve basis. Please reserve your ticket HERE.

STEAM Fair help during Clipper Time on Wednesdays

Interested in doing a science fair project? Need help getting started or filling out the paperwork? On Wednesdays during Clipper Time in the dry STEM lab Mrs. Goodwin or Ms. Mayeski will be hosting help times. Sign up with your mentor or science teacher.


Horatio Alger Scholarship opens December 1st for Juniors and Seniors

Seeking students who display integrity and perseverance, and plan to pursue a bachelor's degree. Students must have financial need. Both juniors and seniors can apply. Juniors deadline is March 1st and seniors deadline is February 15th. Go to https://horatioalger.org/scholarships/ for information.


Seniors looking for free money!

Any senior planning to attend a 2 or 4 year college, technical/vocational school or even if you plan to go into the military or need help with expenses to start up your own business or certificate program there are scholarships waiting for you. Scholarship workshops have been scheduled where you can learn where to look and how to apply for scholarships. Ask your mentor Monday teacher or your Guidance Counselor to schedule you for one of the workshops (you only need to attend one). Most applications will be due starting after the winter break and go until May/June. If you want to get a jump start on applications, sign up for an early session. Dates are as follows: December 4,5,16,18 and January 8, 9,13,14,15, 21, 22.


Legally Blonde Auditions & Crew Interviews!

Oh my god you guys! Auditions and Crew Interviews for FHS Theatre Company's production of Legally Blonde are coming soon. Crew interviews will be held on December 15th; Singing Auditions on December 17th and Dance Auditions on December 19th. Join the Schoology group for more information and materials. Spanish Honor Society

From now until Monday, December 22nd,The Spanish National Honor Society is selling colorful one of a kind handcrafted bracelets for $5 each as well as individual handcrafted bags for $15 each during both lunches. 100% of the proceeds are invested in a wide range of social impact programs in Nicaragua & Guatemala. GLAM Girls Club Giving Tree

FHS GLAM Girls club is running their annual giving tree through December 15th! Please feel free to grab a tag off the pink tree in the main entrance and get the piece of equipment to help an athlete in need this holiday season. Once you get the item written on the tag please drop off your gift in the bin under the tree. French Honor Society

Dungeons & Dragons / Magic The Gathering Club

New to the wonders and wizardry of Dungeon and Dragons? Look for some new Combo's to play with in Magic the Gathering Trading Card Game. We have two seasoned Presidents, Sterling who has Mastering the Dungeons since day one. Plus a seasoned pro who gathers his magic, Theoden runs the Magic the Gathering half. Come to these two for more information. Supplies will be provided, all are welcome no matter the nerdiness Monday December 8th at 2:10pm in the library.
