This Week in Sports at FHS:

Tuesday, 10/4: Girls Soccer vs Barnstable at home, 4:00 pm on the Turf Field and Cross Country versus Martha's Vineyard at home, 4:00 pm, FHS track. Wednesday, 10/5: Field is home versus Sandwich at 4:00 pm on the Turf Field, and Unified Basketball has their first home game versus Marta's Vineyard at 3:00 pm in the Field House. Thursday, 10/6: Boys Soccer is home versus Sandwich at 4:00 pm on the Turf Field and Fall Golf plays at 3:30 pm at Falmouth Country Club versus Martha's Vineyard. Friday, 10/7: Volleyball is home at 4:00 and 5:30 pm versus Sandwich in the Field House and our football team plays at 6:00 pm versus Dennis-Yarmouth. Good luck to all our Clippers!


Clipper Cafe

Attention faculty and staff: Mrs. Hackett's Restaurant Management class has opened the Clipper Cafe and will be selling coffee for $2 from 7:30 to 8:10 B-F days (no A days). Stop by the culinary room for your morning coffee! (Sorry, no sales to students.)


Homecoming Information & Updates!!!

Homecoming is Friday, October 14th. The game will begin at 6:00 pm versus Martha's Vineyard and the dance will be from 8:30 pm to 10:30 pm in the Field House. Guest forms are available in Activities and will be due back by Wednesday, October 12th. Tickets will be on sales starting next week during lunch waves and in Activities. Tickets are $10.00. Voting for your Clipper Court will take place on Thursday and winners will be announced during our Pep Rally on Friday afternoon to end the day.


Spirit Week

Spirit Week starts on Tuesday. Wear those class colors and show your school spirit. Check out all the days posted around the school and on your class boards.

Senior Portraits

Attention Seniors. Senior Portraits for the yearbook are due by Monday, October 31st. Please upload your photo through the link at Yearbook Central. If you have any questions or issues, please reach out to Ms. Hart our Yearbook Coordinator.


Attention Juniors

The PSAT test will be given at FHS on Saturday, October 15th from 8am-11:30am. You should have received a registration form in your homeroom. The last day to turn in your form and payment is October 7th. If you did not get a form and you wish to take the exam please stop by Guidance.


October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month

Did you know that October is domestic violence awareness month? Domestic violence includes physical, emotional, sexual, or digital abuse. Today, young people are experiencing domestic violence at alarming rates. Here at Falmouth High School we value healthy relationships. Please join us over the course of this month, in raising awareness and educating others on domestic violence faced within our community. Remember to wear your purple on Thursday, 10/20/22 in support.


Colleges visiting Guidance

The following colleges will be visiting Guidance: Boston College on Wednesday, Oct 12th and St. Anselm on Monday, October 17th. Please stop by right after school if interested in hearing more about these colleges and what they have to offer.


STEAM Fair (Re-name for the Science Fair)

All Students curious about the STEAM Fair, please sign up for Clipper Time Oct 12 or Oct 13 in the auditorium with Ms. Strong.


Spanish Honor Society

"Spanish Honor Society will hold our first meeting on Wednesday, October 12th after school at 2:10pm in the library. Anyone who is interested in joining, you are welcome to attend and please send an email to Mrs Stanton so she can add you to our schoology group."


The Library is closed after school on Thursday, October 6.


Clipper Closet

The FHS Clipper Closet is open!!!! Please feel free to stop by Activities, do some shopping and check out some great dance wear. Homecoming is just around the corner and everything in the Clipper Closet is free, some even have tags on them. The Clipper Closet is available to everyone.


Meet the Teacher

This Thursday evening, October 6th, Falmouth High school will host its annual Meet The Teachers Night. Parents and guardians will follow their children's schedules, meet their teachers, learn about their classes, and have an opportunity to ask questions or request a conference. The Field House doors open at 5:15 pm at which time you can pick up your child's schedule, a school map and information packet, followed by the formal program which begins at 6:00 pm in the auditorium.


Interact Club

The Interact Club will hold a meeting this Thursday, October 6th right after school in Guidance. New students are always welcome. Come hear about the fun projects planned for this year!


Science Honor Society

The first meeting of the Science National Honor Society will be Wednesday, October 12 at 2:15 in room 1050. We will start planning events for the year. If you are hoping to join SNHS this year, you are also welcome to attend. Contact Ms. Brothers for more information.


Ecology Club

Do you like wildlife? Are you concerned about climate change? Do you want to protect the environment? You should join the FHS Ecology Club. Our first meeting with be Thursday, October 13 at 2:15 in room 1050. New members are always welcome! Contact Ms. Brothers for more information.


Senior Soccer Players

Attention Grade 12 Varsity Soccer Players: The Richard E. Maxwell Memorial Scholarship is open for high school seniors actively involved in their high school's varsity soccer program. Check out your email for more information. The deadline to apply is December 31, 2022.
