The Elks National Foundation Scholarship
The Elks National Foundation Most Valuable Student Scholarship is accepting applications now until November 12, 2025. Any graduating seniors planning to enroll in four-year undergraduate degree programs in the United States are eligible to apply. You do not need to be a relative of an Elk. MA Elks Scholarship
The program offers grants to students demonstrating financial need, scholarship aptitude, and good citizenship. Grants may be renewed yearly, based on continued demonstration of financial need and academic achievement. Applications are available online at https://www.maelks.org/scholarships/. Please turn applications in to Ms. Carrara in guidance by January 12th.
Attention Senior Soccer Players!

FHS Theatre Company's Winter Calendar Raffle is back!
Tickets are on sale now- one for $10 or three for $25. Drawings will begin on November 24th and each ticket gives you 26 chances to win awesome prizes from Anejo, Eight Cousins, Coffee O, and more! Attention Juniors - Coolidge Scholarship
The Coolidge Scholarship is a full-ride, four-year, merit scholarship that recipients may use for undergraduate study at any accredited college or university in the United States. Any high school junior who plans to enroll in college in the fall of 2027 and is an American citizen or legal permanent resident is eligible to apply (current high school seniors are not eligible to apply). Winners may use the scholarship to pursue any academic major.The scholarship application, along with additional information, can be accessed on our scholarship site: www.coolidgescholars.org. The submission deadline is Tuesday, December 16, 2025.

FHS Boys Basketball Playing at TD Garden
We are pleased to announce our boys basketball team will play at 1:00pm versus Westford Academy on Sunday, January 18, 2026 at the Andrew James Lawson event. Each ticket costs $30. The tickets are valid for all eight high school games on January 18. All seats are unreserved and are on a first come first serve basis. Please reserve your ticket HERE.

Winter Sports Registration Open
Winter sports registration for FHS is now open in FamilyID. Please register your student through this FamilyID link or on the FHS athletics website. Winter sports tryouts/practices will begin on Monday, December 1st.

For the week of Nov 3, the Senior College Drop-in Clipper time session will be on FRIDAY 11/7. Please sign up under Guidance in Enriching Students! We will return to Wednesdays the week of Nov 10th!
STEAM Fair help during Clipper Time on Wednesdays
Interested in doing a science fair project? Need help getting started or filling out the paperwork? On Wednesdays during Clipper Time in the dry STEM lab Mrs. Goodwin or Ms. Mayeski will be hosting help times. Sign up with your mentor or science teacher.
College Visits to FHS
The following college representatives will be in Guidance after school at 2:05pm. Please stop by if you want to meet with them to discuss their programs and learn more about the school. Hartford Art School on Thursday, November 13th - Savannah College of Art on Wednesday, November 19th.
Winter Sports Meet the Coaches Night
Winter Sports Meet the Coaches Night is Thursday, November 13th at 6:00 in the FHS auditorium. This is a required informational session for winter season student athletes and a parent/guardian. Please see Mr Oliveira or Mrs Lourie with any questions.
Bake Sale!
The senior class is hosting a bake sale Wednesday through Friday this week at lunch waves. Support the senior class and enjoy a treat!
Math Honor Society Fundraiser
Math Honor Society will be holding its annual fundraiser of frozen pies and cookie dough from November 5 through November 19. You can place orders online with this link, or see any member of the club. Orders will be delivered on December 10.
College Field Trip
Any Junior or Senior student interested in attending a field trip to Wheaton College and the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth on November 20, should pick up a field trip form in guidance. A completed field trip form is due back in guidance by November 13.
Attention Science Fans!
Hey Science Fans, are you interested in spending three school days doing Scientific research while staying on campus at the Marine Biological Laboratory in Woods Hole? Then come join us for an informational meeting during Clipper Time in the library on Thursday, November 13 with Mrs. Goodwin and Mrs. Mayeski to find out more information about the FREEHigh School Science Discovery Course. Have your mentor or science teacher sign you up on Enriching Students with Mrs.Goodwin.
District-Wide Art Show at the Falmouth Art Center
The show will run until November 17th, and there is a reception this Friday, November 7th from 4-6pm. Twenty of our students from Falmouth High School will be featured in the show.
